Law can be best described as a traditional profession, where you get to know the path to lead your life the legal way and become responsible citizens. Law is involved at every stage of human life, right from purchase to renting a house and marriage. No wonder, many political as well as corporate leaders all over the world possess a degree in law among their other qualifications.

Students at the School of Legal Studies, A.P. Goyal Shimla University, are instilled with a strong basic foundation for legal knowledge and aptitude, and are implanted with a practical skill set that not only helps them build a sturdy career ahead, but also makes them aware of the ethical values that they themselves and people around them should follow to be so called as the responsible citizens.

To maintain our position of being recognized as the top university for legal studies in North India, we have built a very strong team of highly qualified faculty members that comprises of solicitors, barristers, judges, with decades of experience in the legal sector, who are not only the best persons to teach the legal education to the students, but also help inculcate skills to face real-life cases with their own, personal and professional experiences.

The campus at the A.P. Goyal Shimla University is equipped with all the modern facilities such as an international standard auditorium, student mess, modern cafeteria, multi-purpose gym, medical facilities for emergency, Oxford style library, Bank ATMs, and much more.

 

 

 

Our teaching methodology is not limited to the traditional classroom-based approach. We have, instead, adopted various forms of imparting quality education to the students, where along with theoretical learning, students are also encouraged to participate in regular workshops, seminars, debates, moot court competitions, poster making competitions, nukkad natak competitions, and many other activities alike. The motto is to provide them with the best learning environment where they can swot to grow and succeed in various aspects of life.

 

 

We, at the AP Goyal Shimla University, have signed MoUs with International Universities and premier educational institutes from different corners of the world. This is to enable our students to attain global learning experience by participating in the student exchange programs and collaborating with foreign students and faculty.

Internship and Able Guidance

Students are encouraged to take up internships at the conclusion of every semester, and are provided able guidance and support to work with organizations where they can associate and interact with lawyers and legal professionals. A group of students is assigned to each faculty member so that they can get the best possible supervision about their academics and further practical aspects.

In Tune with the International Standards: All our courses are in line with the required international standard par excellence, and the same is revealed in the recognitions provided to us by the BCI (Bar Council of India), University Grants Commission (UGC), CoA (Council of Architecture), etc.
