The Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University Engineering programs expose the participants to the fundamentals of engineering principles and professional practices. B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering

Pass with 50% (GEN)/ 45% (SC/ST) aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology) subject to valid score in JEE(Main).

This programme imparts with the help of advanced learning solutions about knowledge of innovations like machine learning, often called deep learning and artificial intelligence. The specialisation is designed to enable students to build intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of machine learning, analytics and visualisation technologies. The main goal of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning is to program computers to use example data or experience to solve a given problem. The programme also focuses on AI methods based in different fields, including neural networks, signal processing, control, and data mining, in order to present a unified treatment of machine learning problems and solutions. The four-year programme is specifically created to make the professional technically sound in advanced learning systems that are based on the algorithm of Artificial Intelligence. This programme develops the skills of creating fastest working apps or solutions integrated with analytical information ensuring 100% accuracy in the output. During the four years, undergraduates will be well versed with software and hardware by studying subjects like operating system, computer networks, digital image processing, database management systems, cloud computing, Internet of Things, Mathematics and cryptography and network security in addition to programming languages.
