Overview
The Department in assistant nursing helps students acquire expertise in nursing care giving them prospects to further help qualified nurses and doctors in medical centres, nursing homes and educational institutes. Few courses that will be taught in this course includes basic anatomy, physiology, pathology, community health nursing, sociology and many more. These students can get placed in government, private, semi-government, multi-speciality hospitals and non-profit organizations.

Scholarships for the students for the session 2023-2024
- According to the percentage obtained by the students in Board Examination viz.
- Above 90% — 25% in the semester fees.
- Above 80% — 20% in the semester fees.
- Above 70% — 15% in the semester fees.
- Above 65% — 10% in the semester fees.
- Girls students of H.P. 25% in the semester fees.
- Ward of Army/Ex-serviceman/ Martyrs/War Widows- 15% in the semester fees.
- Wards of University employees- 25% in the semester fees.
- Differently abled child -50% in the semester fees.
- International / National Level Player in any sports – 25% in the semester fees.
- State-level player – 15% in the semester fees.
- Existing students from UG course to PG course – 25% in the first semester.
- Existing Students scoring A Grade & above – 5% in semester fee on each semester performance
- HP/Other States Govt. Scholarships – As per Govt. Policy for SC/ST.
