DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the School of Applied Sciences. The school of applied science is devoted to develop understanding of fundamental principles of science and engineering that are capable of enhancing the human experience among the keen learners. The school of applied science is offering undergraduate programs (B.Sc. non-medical), postgraduate programs (M.Sc.). The School of Applied Sciences was established in the academic year 2012-2013. The School is equipped to carry out both teaching and research through its various Applied Science disciplines, namely, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. The prime motive of our Department is to provide quality education to our students. The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn play a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability, besides career. The excellent infrastructure, teaching faculty of the best kind ensuring quality education such as interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell. Recently, our students have been placed in Pharmaceutical companies, and many others our brilliant students have been recruited in Government Services also. Our department actively contributes towards organizing various conferences, seminars and workshops with an aim to provide an exposure to the students towards various research progress being held in the field of Science. Thus our main thrust and philosophy behind the establishment of the School is to promote in depth undergraduate and post Graduate education and conduct research in emerging areas of Applied Sciences that will be beneficial for the Nation and the World.
