Master of Law (LLM) - Course Introduction

School of Legal Studies and Research began its first academic session in 2013. The School is committed to provide legal education to its students by adopting such curriculum and pedagogy in order to give them extensive exposure of domestic, international and comparative laws. Presently the School is running 5 years integrated BA.LLB programme, 3 years LL.B programme, 2 years LL.M programme. The programme seeks to promote multi-disciplinary analysis of the socio-legal problems by designing the course-structure and teaching methods to realize these objectives. Our sincere endeavor is to make legal education as an instrument of social, political and economic change. Our students will not only be fully equipped with the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of law but will also be equipped to address the imperatives of new millennium and uphold the Constitution of India.

To provide the rich heritage of legal thought and tradition and to contribute to the national development by inculcating a sense of responsibility among the students, while simultaneously cultivating in them the spirit of intellectual freedom, qualities of leadership, imaginative power and clarity.

L.L.M: Two years full time course (Intake Sanctioned 15) This is a Post Graduate course which can be taken up after completion of Three year LL.B. after Graduation under at least 10+2+3 pattern or Five years LL.B. under10+2+5 pattern recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Eligibility Requirement

  • The student should have secured 50% aggregate marks in LLB/BALLB or any equivalent to be eligible for this program
