Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy
The Department of Physiotherapy at APGSU offers bachelor’s course which focuses on making trained physiotherapists. We offer internship exposure to students in the last semester apart from course studies. Physiotherapy is a discipline of science concerned with the treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of physically challenged individuals. Physiotherapy is regarded as an old science that utilises physical activities to heal individuals. This autonomous health profession is a non-surgical procedure that aims to alleviate pain, restore functioning, and improve a patient’s ability to move the affected area of the body.
Physiotherapy courses require candidates to possess comprehensive clinical knowledge and an understanding of the underlying principles underlying all therapeutic modalities conducted on patients.
After BPT, a physiotherapy student might pursue further education and specialise in the discipline of physiotherapy. BPT graduates are also qualified for postgraduate programmes such as hospital administration, business management, public health management, and others.
