Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University is located on the outskirts of Shimla city, on a hilltop. 3Ward of Army/Ex – serviceman/ Martyrs/War Widows- 15% in the semester fees.
4Wards of University employee- 25% in the semester fees.
5Differently abled child -50% in the semester fees.
6International / National Level Player  in any sports – 25% in the semester fees.
7State level player – 15% in the semester fees.
8Existing students from UG course to PG course – 25% in the first semester.
9 Existing Students scoring A Grade & above – 5% in semester fee on each semester  performance 
10HP/Other States Govt. Scholarships – As per Govt. Policy for SC/ST.
