APG Shimla University’s School of Paramedical Sciences and Himachal Pradesh Government’s Medical and Family Welfare Department organized a one-day medical camp on March 17th at APG Shimla University from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the camp, general medical check-ups, medical check-ups for eye and dental diseases, and medicines were distributed. The Vice-chancellor of APG Shimla University and head of the department of paramedical sciences, Dr. Prachi Vaid, had said that the medical camp was being organized with the aim of making the general public aware of health, and villagers of Gram Panchayats Beolia and Rajhana, nearby APG University, would be leveraged from this camp. A team of specialist doctors, optometrists, dental hygienists, and medical officials were available for free medical check-ups for eye and dental diseases. They also gave medical advice to the patients for the prevention of diseases. The Vice-chancellor of APG varsity had said that free bus convenience was available on behalf of APG Shimla University from Panthaghati at 10 a.m. to APG varsity. After the conclusion of the medical camp, varsity bus convenience was available up to Pantaghati in the evening for those who had undergone medical check-ups in the medical camp.
