B.Sc. Non-Medical or B.Sc. with major in Physics from any recognized University with minimum 50% marks.
The course aims at the imparting of knowledge on fundamental principles of Physics. The mode of delivery includes lectures, seminars, workshops and practical lab work. Students will need to complete a research-based project at the end of the two semesters. Graduates of M.Sc. Physics are aimed to study quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, astrophysics, optics, spectroscopy, nuclear physics, electronics, etc.
Physics graduates have ample of opportunities, be it, in healthcare, manufacturing and electronics companies in most foreign countries. Those with exceptional academic excellence can go a step further and apply in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Indian Space Research Organization and other reputed R&D’s. One can also pursue Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
