Mridav Thapa, a student of forensic science at the School of Paramedical Sciences at AP Goyal Shimla University, has been selected for the Science Academy’s Summer Research Fellowship Program 2023 for students and faculties, organized by the Indian National Science Academy in New Delhi. Dr. Prachi Vaid, the chairperson of the School of Paramedical Sciences, told on Wednesday that the Indian National Science Academy in New Delhi, the National Academy of Sciences Allahabad, and the Indian Academy of Sciences Bengaluru’s joint collaborative effort to bring students from across the country for research experiences and internships at prestigious institutions after the selection of prodigious teachers and students. Dr. Prachi Vaid added that at present time, out of 126 teachers and students from across the country, Mridav Thapa, a student of Forensic Science, is selected by Prof. Jayshree Das Sharma of the Department of Biological Sciences of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata.
